    5.56 AR Deer control 1-9 Twist

    So I am likely going to get a unique opportunity to get to help with some deer control and to take deer with a semi in PA because of work. (Airport control permit).

    What is the heaviest pill I can push out of a 1/9 twist barrel? I need a clean ethical kill and can't have them running around an airport into parked aircraft. I want to use my Smith AR with a 1-9 twist because I have an optic with illuminated reticle and 1000 lumen light on it already. (Yes most of the control will be after sundown)

    If I need to I will look into adding a light on my Valkyrie but I am nowhere close right now for my load development to be comfortable using it to take an animal.

    Truse me, go with the 65gr Sierra Game king.
    Accurate, great on game, and work awesome in 1:7 to 1:9 twist

    Heaviest is not the best. Think bullet quality/makeup/design.
    My choice would be a Barnes 55gr TSX. Have killed deer with these in the past out of my Benelli MR-1 with it's 1:9 twist.

    65 SGK or 62 TSX/TTSX. I'd go with the 65 SGK because they are more affordable and shoot great.
